Utesto
This Policy explains how Utesto ("we," "us") collects and uses personal data. The operator of Utesto, an individual entrepreneur, is responsible (the "controller") for the data described here, except payment data, which Lemon Squeezy handles under its own privacy policy (Section 6). You can contact the controller at admin@utesto.com for any privacy question or request.
Account data: name, email address, password (stored encrypted) — or, if you sign in with Google, the name and email Google shares with us instead of a password (see Section 5).
Learning data: your test attempts, written answers, spoken answers (audio recordings), scores, progress and study history. We use audio recordings only to score and give feedback on your speaking; we do not use them to identify you.
Support data: messages you send us through the contact form or email, including the phone number if you choose to give it.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, approximate location from your IP, log-in times, pages and features used. We keep log-in and usage records also to confirm that paid access was delivered (for example, if a payment is disputed).
Purchase data from Lemon Squeezy: your name, email, country, plan, order number, subscription status, payment dates and amounts. We never receive or store your full card number.
Terms acceptance: the date, time and IP address when you agreed to our Terms before purchase.

Your written and spoken answers are scored automatically by an AI system to give you practice scores and feedback. These scores are estimates for practice only. They have no legal or similar effect on you and are not official test scores. If you think a score is wrong, email admin@utesto.com and a person will review it.
You can create an account or sign in using "Sign in with Google" instead of a password. If you choose this:
Purchases are sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects your payment and billing details directly on its secure checkout and processes them under its own Privacy Policy: https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/privacy. Lemon Squeezy uses its own payment partners (for example, card processors and PayPal) to take the payment. Lemon Squeezy shares with us only the purchase data listed in Section 2. Lemon Squeezy may also email you receipts, renewal reminders and billing notices.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Then we delete or anonymise the data.
We use cookies needed to keep you signed in and the Service working. If we use analytics or other non-essential cookies, we ask for your consent where the law requires it. You can control cookies in your browser.
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict some processing, and withdraw consent. Email admin@utesto.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the data-protection authority in your country.
We protect data with encryption of passwords, secure hosting, HTTPS and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we act quickly on any incident.
The Service is for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
We may update this Policy. We will change the "Last updated" date and tell you about important changes.
